New Ring!!!

Heyguesswhat?!?! I got a new engagement ring! I originally had a beautiful sapphire ring, the sapphire was purple that changed to blue in certain lighting.  But, stupid me, I lost it in the bathroom at school.  I have felt so horrible about it. But recently, my lovely Fiance said that I could pick out a new ring if I wanted. I had seen a beautiful blue opal ring at one of the zoo gift shops we went to recently, and knew that's what I wanted.  I found "the one" at our 4th of July festival in the park.  One of those booths with all the pretty handmade silver jewelry caught my eye. I was with my bestie Bob and I fell in love. The rest is history.
The next day I realized that I had nail polish that would match the opal perfectly, so I did a matchy-mani.  I think I might coin that. Here ya go!

The colors I used were China Glaze - Blue Year's Eve, and Zoya - Maisie.
BYE is a beautiful blue metal flake. Maisie is a teal flakie. The stamping design was from the new mash set and done in Orly Dazzle.  I loved this design so much I made some earrings for myself.

I have gauged ears and I got the idea of just painting existing earrings. I bought these for $3 (they had the words "epic fail" on them, lol irony) and just painted them. Cool huh?

Happy 4th of July!

I love me some fireworks! So shiny.
...shiny...

Sorry. I went to space for a minute there. Shiny, like my mani today! I also love me some orly metallics.  I started my whole collection with some boring Sally Hansons and Wet n Wild.  When I started reading nail blogs, I ran out and bought Orly Dazzle. That was in November, now I'm on my second bottle.  I started lemming Sweet Peacock shortly after that. Guess what? Just a few months ago, Orly brought it back! I snatched that one up quick. Finally just the other day I bought Orly Rock It.  It's gorgeous! So what does all this mean?

Super Shiny 4th of July Mani!!!

Behold...

Shiny fireworks and wavy flags and happiness. These pictures do not do it justice at all.
SOOOOOOOOO SHINY!!!!!

I really love all these polishes, they are super easy to apply, opaque in only two coats! They are also great stamping polishes, perfectly beautiful over black.  Actually I lie, I have not tried to stamp with Rock It (red), but I bet it's great.

Since this is a scheduled post, I have no idea what I am doing today. I think I am seeing Spider Man. The new one of course.  Hopefully with some friends. Well, thank you all for reading.

Have a great 4th!

As always, Happy Manicures!

Product Feature: OPI Nail Envy

So, Today I think I will tell you about one(of many) of my favorite products.  This is a great nail strengthener by OPI called Nail Envy.  I use it under every mani I do.  Before I started using it, my manis wouldn't last long, my nails would flake and peel and with it would come the polish.  I didn't think there was anything I could do until I saw one of the blogs I follow, (probably Nailasaurus, Polishaholic, or Let Them Have Polish, let me know if you use it too!)  It was quite a while ago so I don't remember exactly who mentioned it.  I went in search of this amazing thing.  I found it, at $16.99 a bottle! Whew! Way too much for my little budget.  But I had tried a ton of others with absolutely no results.  I decided to try this stuff even with the giant price tag. (should've started at ebay where I recently found 2 bottles for $11.95, *facepalm) I will never put regular polish directly on my nail again! This is the most amazing product I have ever used! I have strong long non-peeling nails all thanks to OPI Nail Envy. It's amazing! It's actually hard to clip my nails, they are so thick and strong. Try it. It's awesome.

Also, here is my new favorite polish again in a spongy mani.  Color Club - Take wing, With Orly - Dazzle, and Wet n Wild - Black Creme`. Love this!

So, I hope you like my little showcase and I hope it helps you out!

Happy Manicures!

disclaimer: I was not contacted by OPI in any way and I decided to do this review of my own accord.
