Mono-chrometastic!

Woo hoo! I have already had 12 people look at my blog! I feel successful.  Well, here is a design I did a few weeks ago.  I've come down with the black death so I am not interested in uploading pictures and junk. But, I will show you pictures that are already on the 'puter.
Here:
Base: Black Vinyl by Orly with Mattifier by Hard Candy
Design:Dazzle by Orly

I love these designs because they are crazy, but so easy! I just used scotch tape.  Fun, huh?
Yesterday I got a great package in the mail.  I ordered some empty bottles for Franken-Polish, some dotting tools, some dried flowers, a new super sticky base coat, a super glossy top coat and two new crackle colors: white and purple.  Super excited to use all of it!

Lime Zoot Suit

Base: Wild Thing by Pure Ice
Stripe: Un-named Black Striper from Kiss Nail Art
Top Coat: Shine of the Times from Essie

This is my newest design.  I got the idea from Nailside, one of my inspirations!  I follow quite a few nail art blogs and hope they will follow me too!

Hello!

Welcome to my new blog.  I am Mograt, always have been and always will be.  I am 28 and have a loverly fiance` (Dingus) and a beautiful future step-daughter (Sweet-pea)  I know everyone has a blog but I was really interested in all the nail blogs out there and thought that there can never be too many of those.  I started painting crazy designs on my nails when I was about 7 or 8 years old.  My first ones were American flags.  I remember my inspiration to start was a lady at a toy store.  When she rang us up I noticed her gorgeous long nails.  They were maroon, with gold diagonal stripes.  There were little gems in between the stripes and on her thumb she had pierced the nail and wore a tiny tiny charm.  From that moment on I wanted to paint my nails crazy colors.  I lost interest in high school, that's when I lost interest in a lot of things, depression had hit.  I struggled with that for about 10 years, trying different medications, marrying a              and then leaving him, finding Dingus and almost losing him, and finally with the help of Dingus, my mama, and some amazing friends I found what I need to be happy.  Now I am re-discovering some great things that I used to love.  I am restoring a ukulele, learning to program, and stocking up on all the coolest new nail gadgets.  I feel selfish keeping all the great design ideas I have to myself, so here you are.  Feel free to copy any and all of my designs, but if I say I made it up, please give me credit on your blog.  I'll try and remember to give credit too.  I'm gonna go and upload some photos now.  Have a nice night!
